People who received the request for fingerprints. Is that a general information about they mentioning the section 21 and 22 of the citizenship act in the letter? I kinda freaked out lol I have no criminal background

also is that normal they ask to bring the paper of confirmation of landing to the appointment for fingerprints?

Yep, I believe it’s standard. I was also surprised to see that mentioned, but I read in this forum it’s common mention when requesting FP

Ok phew! I guess there’s someone else in trouble with a similar name as mine. Because during my application for PR I was requested for fingerprints too. So it’s the 2nd time they need to verify my identity lol
but the letter for PR, they don’t mention the details like this letter for citizenship

if you also applied together as a family, with the child’s application being under section 5(2), the child’s status shall remain “in process” on ECAS till oath after which all of your status will turn to “complete”

Hi Booboo, so, does your daughter have received AOR? If so, please login to online portal (status tracker) if you can.
UCI number does not change (remember, it is Unique Client Identifier). If she has a PR card, there you can find the UCI number.

This actually shows 27 months now lol. Am I missing something? it never showed this number before, the maximum I saw was like 18 months when I used to check last year.

I forgot to mention that beginning of march I requested the notes. And now beginning of april which means I should be getting my notes soon, I got the request for the fingerprints!
It seems like every time someone requests their notes, they receive an update for their process lol coincidences? Idk

My FP were requested Dec 30th 2021 and given the day after; just in today (march 29 2022) I got the background completed; they are slow......

May I ask which office was requesting the fingerprint? Thank you very much! My application was stuck by the Montreal office that processed my fingerprints really slowly.
