"Canada is waiving biometrics requirements for permanent residence applicants who submitted biometrics in the last 10 years." If true this can be a good news for those who have provided biometrics for the last 10 years under any Visa or Immigration programs. Hope that would help expedite the processing time a little bit.

RESULTS:-
She was very nice and polite. Listened to my story as to how I am suffering alone , Digged deep in to files and gave me a TEMP file NO. XF00XXXXXXXX
I dont think we can link it yet? She said YES we have received your file but an officer have to check it thoroughly then you will get a file no. or AOR1 did not give anytime lines/estimates whatsoever ..Was not sure if we need Bio-metrics, but said if you guys are exempted then will get a REFUND.
Ideas are welcome from all ..Thanks Bit happy to know file is there

Congrats. When your app was delivered? I sent a webform a week ago inquiring about the same but it seems they will not reply. I think it is more beneficial if we called and spoke with an agent, the nice and polite type if we were lucky enough.

Just be polite and they usually are polite as well

Our file delivered by courier on MAY 12th and was NOT signed by the receptionist (perhaps due to Covid measurements most did not get those signs)

Currently IRCC is sending AOR1 for applications received on the first week of March. It is going to take some time till they reach May.
