Hello folks - based on my GCMS notes, my criminality validity expires on Jan 15, 2022. Does this mean I would get oath invite before that date? DM made on July 30, 2021, and waiting since then .. thank you!

Not necessarily. Any validity dates that are expired can go back to in progress to re-do them. This is what I was told when I had the same question a couple months ago.
On that note, is this the normal wait time for oath after DM? What is your location of application and when did you complete your test?

No idea how long it takes .. I completed my test on June 16.. I got my GCMS notes yesterday.. my office is Mississauga and file location says “Ceremony Ready Shelf”..

My Interview done well yesterday , with in 6 hours all status updated to completed except oath ,
During the interview - I asked the officer in another 4 moths I am finishing 2 years, can you please help me to finish this off my humble request officer please, she replied your case is not urgent we are very behind because of Afghanistan crisis, I said please officer even we have humanity but many of us waiting here in the line to obtain citizenship is having might have faced more issues than Afghans, isn't it true that " For Canadian Government Canadians should be the first priority "please understand I am not asking for me, I am asking for all of us suffering since more than a year still we dont know when are we going to end this hassle and I ended up with " GOD BLESS CANADA ", she said really sorry for all these mess but we have to follow the superior's orders no matter what, you are true " For Canadian Government Canadians should be the first priority " , but definitely I will bring to my supervisor and lets see what I can do for this. Really people few immigration officers have heart she was so convinced and I believe she will do something positive.

Hi All - a final update. I had my oath ceremony on November 16 - in all it took about an hour and half. There were at least 70 others taking the oath as well. (Halifax Office) Today, (November 18) my tracker was updated (file closed) and I received my citizenship certificate via Canada Post. I did request my certificate to be expedited for urgent travel. My next step will be to apply for my passport in person. I am grateful for the helpful comments posted here...thank you! Wishing everyone the best of luck with your journey to citizenship and beyond!

Glad to know, finally there is some movement with Windsor. When did you get the interview request? and were you asked for any passport pages?

Yeah first they asked for passport pages, after exactly 1 week I got the call directly morning 8:30 , there was no prior interview notice, she just called me and usually I put my phone on silent but that day I forgot and lucky to hold of her and finished the interview

Why did they call? Are you refering to the call as interview?

This is strange. Interviews usually done with an invitation, and usually done via zoom to verify documents among other things.

Yeah it was a phone call, with out even any notice from +1999999999999 number ... ( Initially I thought I will ignore the call as it looks a spam call that too morning around 8 am) so friends if you miss any call from this number immediately contact IRCC or please please dont ignore the call, thank you
