Submit address change online. It will get updated in few days itself. I too did the same due to same situation.
After AOR, your application wont return.

When you check ecas status online after receiving AOR, there will be buttons to click to request updating address.

How do you link your paper application to ecas?? I don't see an option for that when I go to my account.

You cannot link to your sign in account. You can click “check your application status” under “3.after you apply”.

That's great news regarding the application not being returned! Now I can relax and just wait it out. The online address change seemed to insist on changing home and not mailing address, but I will give it another shot. Thanks!

Ya there is flaw in the system hence you have to change both together.

Still many March/Feb/April not done and few Jan not done hence we should have less frustration than them. CIC has not even reached mid May yet. So not late yet as they are not going by sequence.
I am waiting on my wife's application (reached on 7th May).

Came to know just now that my wife received AOR today at 7:35am.
Application was received by cic on May 7th.

Alhamdulillah - I got my AOR this morning around 06:00 AM (Mountain time). 3 applicants including me. Application was received on May 16, 2020.

CIC received my files on 13-May and until now no news for AOR yet.

Quick question: If I forgot to check on the check box on the document checklist for payment (but I attached payment receipt with other documents for both me and my daughter for total CAD 730, will CIC return my application? I can’t remember exactly whether I check on that check box or not. Thank you in advance and any idea?
