Security only starts after IRCC sends a request to the National Security Screening Division (NSSD) and screening partners. IF you have been assigned to a group, then your security may not have been initiated. If it starts, then you will see a note under admissibilities -> Security in your GCMS notes.

Many applications hav been placed on hold were eligibility is passed and security has not yet been initiated.

Called CIC today.
Same status,
Criminality in progress & Security not started.
IRCC doesn't care about how lives of individuals is dependent on the application & just want to improve their numbers (Hence processing the later applications & leaving the Applications which are already past due in limbo)

I am not sure what's going on but kind of my peace with the fact that we are the unlucky ones & in for a long wait.

Criminality was under progress since last 2-3 months. Got a ghost update last Sunday. Called CIC on Monday and they said everything is passed.

It was approved today.

I'm CEC Inland applicant with AOR 6th May 2020, and background verification is still in progress. We were blessed with a baby girl few days back. Do I need to add her to my PR application? Since she will be a Canadian citizen by birth, I assume she need not be added to the application, but would like to get your suggestion.

You just need to send them the birth certificate .. As you said no need to add them in PR as the baby is already citizen.. but you need to inform them

@meganm & @AMYAINDIA any updates after everything passed? I got nothing since Monday yet.

No updates for me as well. I really hope next week we are able to get it. I see some people who waited a few days and some waited 1-2 months after everything had been passed to get the copr...

I am May 17th AOR with 2 dependents and I passed all stages on January 27th 2021 . I haven't received COPR yet.
What steps will be carried out from All stages passed till issuing COPR ? . My file got processed @ VO Ottawa and the file is still in VO Ottawa .
Does my file needs to be transferred to local VO to get copr ? or Final decison and copr can be issued from VO Ottawa ? why there is delay in issuing COPR though I passed all stages 35 days ago . Can you please provide some clarification /details . Appreciate your help .
