Police check certificate is needed for security and criminality check. If you donot provide them, your file processing will go on hold.
Moreover if your application is error free and legit. It will process in short time

"In very rare cases, we may accept both a letter of explanation and proof that shows you made your best effort to get a police certificate on time. "
So I was hoping, as I provided those proofs, that they could make an exception.

Regarding my current timeline, there's been a twist today: I received an email saying that the Biometrics Collection Letter was sent by error Even though it was just after my medical was approved...and even though my application status shows "Requires your action" and the Biometrics shows "We need your fingerprints"... I have my appointment in a few hours for collecting those biometrics, not sure if I should really cancel. I think I am going to try it anyway.

Anyone had the same issue ? Can I use the webform to ask what this is about, even though i am only 2 months after my AOR ?

They request pcc from me also on 26 june and i uploaded on same day but then also status doesn’t change from “your action required” to submitted nor under additional document it says we are reviewing your upload document. I think pcc is mandatory for everyone even though they wrote on their website not necessarily needed.
If you got the email that you don’t need to give biometric and you appointment in few hours, i think you should go for it for safe side. Rest upto you because if you raise web form it will take 5 business days to reply, instead of that better to call them.

I can’t say about anything about other countries how ircc can get pcc from them but for my country, i have to provide them. So i attached upfront pcc from my country but i mis canadian one by mistake. So i sent them on 26 june.

Update: my medical has now passed! I also got a request to fill out a family information form. They have given me 7 days to complete it and upload to my profile. Is this normal? Has anyone else been asked to complete this form?

Same thing for me but they asked me RCMP PCC too which i already update before with Indian PCC attached file(it was merged file). should i upload the RCMP PCC same again or need to do it again please suggest. thanks in advance

Just a quick question: I applied for my TRV extension on march 18, 2020 but still didn't receive any update on the application, I later on received my AOR under CEC on May 30th, 2020 and applied for BOWP on June 17th, 2020. Waiting for updates on all my applications! Is this normal due to the Covid-19?

What to do regarding my TRV applied on march 16, 2020? And BOWP applied on June 17, 2020. Still waiting for an update!
