I assume your file might be processing other than Ottawa VO..Probably Edmonton which most of the ppl have delays in processing my AOR may 14th and got update from agent everything passed except criminality aftr i see GU on agu5th but waiting for GCMS meanwhile probably next week i may recieve just to cross check whether the info from agent is upto date or not..my file is at Ottawa as per agent..

I called yesterday and asked the VO specifically .. The agent said it is in Case processing centre - Ottawa

My Status changed from "Your action is required" to "Submitted" on August 9..

try another call with IRCC.... see if the other agent has the same respond or no..

i feel its highly unusual. Ottawa is very fast .only sydney and edmonton are snails.

After 30 days of BIL, the status will change to submitted as per my understanding...

yes true.... and my thinking was like - this status change also includes some progress in the file from case analyst or program assitant or officer side as well... but not sure now..

My AOR is May 25th too (CEC inland). I have been trying to wait until the 3 month point before contacting IRCC, but I caved in today and sent a webform asking for the current status of my eligibility and security checks. Too impatient! I’ll post here when I get a reply, as I guess we will have very similar timelines. I had medical pass and BIL on July 15th.

Great!! My MEP/BIL was july 16. Pls do keep me posted about the webform results. I am CEC inland too.

I called two times and the agent said Ottawa is the VO

Wait until u see the ghost update because in my case i saw GU and biometrics msg to submitted one after the other..BIL jul6th and BIL msg changed to submitted on aug 4th and on aug 5th got the GU...when enquired on aug 9th was informed that eligibilty,security passed besides MED and criminality in progress due to pending BIL...
If your file is in Ottawa wait for 1more week to see for GU if it doesnt happen probably there might be some ADR request coming on ur way...if you are not sure whether your case is straight without any complications that could be the reason for delay...my case and Kabir cases are straight forward as per info i see in this forum..

My file is not complicated and it is straight as I am just claiming my canadian experience and canadian education... I will wait for the GU then.. GU means in myaccount, it will show as application updated but nothing will change inside?

IRCC is doing annoucement biweekly.. last notice was released on 30th July... so expecting another notice on mid of Aug.. lets if if they are publishing anything for biometrics or other update...
