LVO sent my application to Canada, it was approved etc a couple weeks ago. Be sure to use Web form and harass them, the squeaky wheel gets the grease

How did you manage to get them to send the application to Canada? I'm actually from March 2020 applicants, and they've just sent my application to LVO, and I'm scared at how long it's going to take over in London. If I can harass them into just keeping the file in Canada, I will.

Hey, we got pre-arrival letter on October 9, 2020, and just received PPR today - October 26, 2020. Our application is at the Buffalo, New York visa office. Did you get yours?

Hello everyone, my wife just got a visa via my sponsorship yesterday . She got a short validity to enter Canada. in the visa the last entry date should be in January2021. unfortunately, we are not planing to travel and start family during winter and peak covid crisis. we prefer to wait for summer because the situation will be better.

Anyone have a rough idea how long does it take to get the first PR card after landing? Wife landed at YVR on Oct 28/2020. And are there anyways to check the status of the PR card?

Can't tell you how long to get it these days. Try to link it through your GCkey account selecting PR card as the option of what has been applied for. Took us a long time to link it but it eventually worked.

It shows the status" submitted " and when I clicked inside it shows the application number and the date that she landed.
Will the status change to approve when it's approved?

Oh for me, its time for background check..
Disgusting to have to do a police certificate AGAIN .. why the need for the first one.. just check eligibility which takes 18 months and the ask for these .. now they will probably be another medical... I guess this is a ploy to take out poor people from completing the sponsorship. SAD !
atleast there is some progress after writing to MP PM immigration minister, etc!

until another two months until January 2021 END. Can i still send my husband's outland sponsorship file while I am still in India ???
