If you have to travel 8hrs to the same place for both bio and medical, I would see no benefit making two separate trips just to get the biometrics done a week earlier.

I think you can do medical without medical request. It’s something like doing upfront medical.

I've thought about it and checked the CIC website. CIC says: "You can’t get an upfront medical exam if you’re applying to sponsor your spouse, partner or child. Wait for our instructions before going for your medical exam." Unfortunately.

I hope they send me a Medical Request in 15 hours Let's see!

Happened to me last week. Received nothing.

But depending on where you are in the process, it could be your DM or something else.

2) we sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of application on July18
3) we started processing your application on july17
4) we sent you a letter on july 23, please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us

PA:
1) we received application for permanent residency on May30


Anybody got any idea about this mysterious letter sent to Sponsor and how long does it usually take biometrics request to come through?
PA country:India.

its most likely ur sponsor approval letter if its under SA

yes it could be related to that.I received an email to pay BM fees before getting the ghost update.

its not a letter its for PAs bio metrics or medical request...chk ur gckey acct

PA gc key got no update/message,status looks the same as it was initially. No updates on medical or biometrics.
