My citizenship oath is scheduled for Tuesday. I got the invitation this week. Congrats to all the forum members soon to become Canadian citizens. We have finally reached the end of that bumpy road.

Its where you went for your citizenship test/Interview.

The interview was online, and the e-mail from the officer does not specify the office location.

Btw the Oath Affirmation of Citizenship document that was attached to the invitation e-mail does not have my personal details on it. It is just a blank PDF form. Should I fill it out before the ceremony (without dating and signing it, of course).

I did my test on March 26 and got an email the same day that I passed it. The status changed to DM after a week and I haven't heard anything back since then.

My "guess" is that there is no interview for you. because DM comes after the interview, not before!

If you already got your DM then most probably they skipped the interview step for you.

Background verification - Complete
Citizenship Test - Not started

They have removed the application received date! Which was May 10th, 2019 in the old system

And have Jul 25,2019 as
" Application filed
We have received your application and have begun to process your application. Information about the next steps and required action items will be coming soon"

Anyone in the same situation? Do it means my application will be finalized in Jul 2021 now?

This new date is your AOR date, when they open your file in the GCMS system. And if you request your GCMS notes you’ll see that their due date for your application would always be 12 months from your AOR date, not when the post delivers your application.
