I was scheduled for March 17 for the oath-taking (I got the notification February 20, please update the spreadsheet) and got the email that they are postponing the oath and tests.

Has anyone here from Ontario who already got an update for the Virtual Oath-taking?

Even i didnt receive test invite still. I am toronto.(ontario) - It (your app. is currently at the IRCC office at scarborough. This office is verifying if you meet eligibility req. to granted canadian citizenship. Any suggestion would help me....

We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on March 20, 2019.
We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on June 19, 2019.
We started processing your application on July 31, 2019.

I spoke to our MP and requested his assistance on my application, it's been almost 8 months since i took and passed the test but until now i didn't have the schedule of oath. Although, his office was responsive but they can only request for an update, they told me the same thing as those available on eCAS or on the webform.

Thats correct, all they do phone the IRCC on a dedicated line ask for an update which we all can do too.

Hi, I have ordered the GCMS notes and found that the Assessments were as follow:

knowledge: Passed
Residence: Not started
Language: Passed
Prohibition: Not started
Security:
Criminality: Passed
Oath: Not started

I applied in April 2019 and cleared the test in October 2019 in Calgary and have never received any updates since then. The GCMS informations show that my file is stuck in residence, security and prohibition. Any idea what is going on? I have exceeded 14 months already. Any help in how to explain this please? Thanks

Happy Canada Day everyone!

I'm still waiting for my invite to the citizenship test. Does anyone know when IRCC is starting organizing the tests again? Or for how long won't they start for certain?

I was first invited in Nov 2019 but I couldn't go, so I sent an email with some explanation. That delayed the process by at least 4 months (tests/oath ceremonies got cancelled in March). Now I'd like to travel abroad to visit my family, but I don't want to risk having to postpone the test once more, in case I get the invite on a short notice (as there's still a 2-week long mandatory quarantine after returning to Canada). So is the best course of action to just stay put for another X months? :/

Did your friends receive a phone call or email invitation for online oath? And for what date is the online oath scheduled? I am from Winnipeg too.
