FP's can be done by accredited RCMP agencies. In our case at Eglinton Ave. near Renforth Toronto. Just bring with you ID's and the request letter and they will be the one to submit your fingerprints.

Minimum 2 weeks to reach CIC. I have no idea if they wil give you a copy of the results, but you try and request for one.

Thanks, Will CIC update the status as soon as they recieve the mail from RCMP? Also do we know if the Vancouver office to collect the finger prints is working?

In our case, status was not updated. It got updated when they sent the test invite. I got impatient so I called the accredited office which in turn gave me the email ad of the RCMP for follow up. They just said it was received by CIC office.

Hey everyone!
does anyone of you have applied for the Canadian passport after the ceremony of course, and got it stuck before mailing out because of covid 19?? Mine was completed but the office closed just before it was ready for delivery. Anyone in the same situation? any idea when and if they will resume passport delivery anytime soon?

Quebec schools and daycares will be back on May 11th. I believe the ceremonies and tests in Quebec might follow. any ideas?

They are opening in stages so probably not on May 11th. I would say end of June or July is when things get back to somewhat normal (assuming there is no 2nd outbreak)
