This application is for my mom. We have the similar timeline as yours, and haven't heard anything from CIC either.
I saw some people submitted in July and have already got test invitations. It's worrying.
For all immigration petitions our family have done before, we're usually among the normal speed case.
This time is relatively slow. I hope it's just because it's year end.
Good luck to you.
Dont worry it's fine. We were in process since Sept. 6. Also most of March applicants haven't got theirs. For most of GTA applicants the process is slow. And the office got a bug infestation a few months back. I have jitters but we'll just enjoy & look forward for the New Year. Cheers
Hello,
I am not sure that it takes up to six months on average. Below are data from DM to receipt of oath letter of invitation for Calgary candidates only. March Batch: Average time: 26 days while maximum was 49 days April Batch: Average time: 33 days while maximum was 52 days
Note: I left out May batch because of limited data at the moment

I say that leave this all every thing. This can be re-schedule or we can apply for dates. Go & see your Father first.. Everything is later on.. Your citizenship will not revoked and it will not be stopped.
I understand your concern and you have a valid point. It is very strange that some candidates in some areas like Toronto, Barrie & St-Catharines etc
had their DM in December and already are now Canadian citizens.
I am very hopeful that we may start getting results from from next week.
I checked in the schedule and found out that Calgary holds Citizenship ceremony mainly on Saturdays and it is done every two weeks, which sounds very strange. Currently the schedule already published are Friday January 03, 2020(one session), Saturday January 04, 2020 (three sessions), Saturday January 18, 2020(three sessions), Monday February 03, 2020(one session).
Happy new year guys, well I received a call from IRCC today to verify some info on my file and then I was told that I may receive an email or letter asking for more info if needed. The IRCC officer called back about a half an hour later to say that they don't need anything else from me and that my application is now completed!!!.
Now I may have to wait a bit for the oath ceremony because I applied for myself and the kids first and I did my wife's application a few months after and her test is on the 10th Jan ,so the officer said that they will accommodate us to have our family do the ceremony together after she passes her exam.Cheers guys!
I am from Calgary. I did my test on Nov 1, 2019 and status changed to DM the very next day. I haven't received any correspondence regarding the oath yet. Let's hope it happens soon.
