Hi Guys,

I received a request for submitting Fingerprints today. I applied from Guelph ,Ontario.
Any suggestions for doing fingerprint in Brampton/Mississauga area?

Below are my details:

Application Sent : May 29th,2019
Application Received : June 3rd,2019
Acknowledgement Received : August 16th,2019
In Process : Sept 20th,2019
Fingerprint Request : Oct 18th (But received it today)

1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on May 21, 2019.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on August 2, 2019.
3. We started processing your application on September 20, 2019.

please advise.... on my ecas it says we sent you correspondence on 9th of october but i did not get any email or mail . i called cic call center the guy told me it is finger print request they sent mail to my address but i said my preferred correspondence is email as i got my aknowledgement in my email he said sometimea they sent mail ? is there any one in my situation who has chosen email as communication but still got finger request by mail ? and he told me to wait till end of october. but it has been almost 2 weeks since 9th october .. please advise.. i appreciate

I had a similar situation..contact them via the web portal. They would be sending a correspondence again. I know it can be stressful...but since you have raised the concern of non receipt of the letter they know it.. so you are safe.

I have done my fingerprint on 11 Oct since then there is no change in my status. I have emailed IRCC and they informed me that they have not completed my search as of yesterday. Does anyone have similar situation?

And test is 8 November 2019

Any advise what site I can study
