Commissionaires is RCMP accredited to capture fingerprints and submit them directly to the Canadian Criminal Real Time Identification Services for processing. This reduces the RCMP processing time to as little as 72 hours.
I remember CBSA collected Biometrics when I applied for my Nexus card. Does anybody know if I should expect another request? I would think not - but just wanted to ask if somebody is in the same situation? My wife and I applied for Citizenship, she's got the biometrics request 5 days ago but I haven't.

It seems faster on paper, but no one knows in reality.
I think that accredited offices send it straight to national database (Canadian Criminal Real Time Identification Services) and RCMP check their database also. It is my guess only.
