May 2019 Citizenship Application

Hello All,

My spouses' journey to Canadian Citizenship has come to a close. She applied for her Citizenship in May 2019.

The oath was on Thursday 31st March 2022. Got the Certificate on Monday, the 4th of April.

As we needed to travel back home, applied for an express passport at the Mississauga passport office - was in line at 6 am and got done at 1 pm.

Got the passport a few days ago.

Congratulations!! How long did it take between the time you applied for the passport to when you received it?

Hi everyone,
Finally my citizenship journey is complete, I applied May 13, 2019 and oath was on June 24th 2022.
Just received my citizenship certificate yesterday. Can someone please update the tracker
This forum and people have been helpful since I applied spousal visa over 11 years ago.
I wish every one good luck.

Thanks for the update and a big congratulations. I applied on 28 May 2019. My oath is on 2 Aug as per the update on my tracker. I didn't get the invitation letter from IRCC yet. How many days/weeks before your oath, you got the invitation letter from IRCC?

They usually send an invite a week before oath however for some people its 48 hours before oath you can always email them at
IRCC.DNCitSCRScheduling-ConvocationSCRCitRN.IRCC@cic.gc.ca
That's what I did 4 days before oath and I got an instant reply
