Thank you so much for asking,I was just so done with waiting,hoping checking for updates that I said to myself that when this process is all over I’ll post an update which on my part was very selfish and for this I’m very sorry.i got a test invite on the 17th of Nov,I had the test on the 10th of dec and I got a decision made on the 17th of dec .Still waiting for oath invite.What about you?how far with your application?I know you are a June applicant.

awesome! Congratulations! I had my DM on the 17th of Dec after my test on the 16th. Waiting for oath now, so we’re in the same boat. Good luck, we’re almost there!

My application was sent on April 29th and ECAS changed status to "In Processing" on Sep 19.....I still did not get Test invitation request ....I am from Toronto... what could be the reason for delay ? I called CIC but the call center advised me to wait..

we as family ( me, wife and daughter) are applying for citizenship January 2020 after completed 1095 days. But my wife and daughter passport of back home /origin country have already been expired in Dec 2019. so now they don't have any valid passport or travel document of back home or origin of country.

If they submit expired passport with their application then will be there issue in their application?

If I go for renewal then it takes time to get it. so I donot want to waste our time.

please guide me regarding expired passports.

Same timeline for me here. The status on mine had also change to “ in progress “ on September 19th and when I called the lady was rude to me , she said will you let me finish what I was explaining before you ask questions and she also almost threatened to put my application on hold when I told her I’m currently in US , she said why didn’t you notify us and I said I’m here for holidays and coming back in a few days and I don’t see what the issue is .. I guess she was just not having a good day !
But yes we just have to be patient and wait for the test invite , if you look at the shared excel sheet there are still some people who submitted same as us and haven’t gotten the test invite.
Hopefully we get it soon

No need to worry about expired passports. They really just need it to verify your travel records.

Nope, but I was told oath would be between 1-3 months away.

Passed the test 19/20.

Interview was straightforward, only asked for Passport, IDs and were I worked.

Was told that I should be getting the Invitation via email (I asked if it was going to be mail or email) in 4-6 weeks.

For some reason I received invitation by mail. Weird, but at least I have it.

According to the officer who interviewed us, if you receive test invitation by mail then your Oath invitation will be coming by mail as well. If it was email, then oath will be email.
