I understand that people are upset with all the waiting. But surely, that's no cause to insult these government workers. I highly doubt that they are just looking at the applications stack and doing nothing.

Give them a break. If you were in their shoes, applications would probably take longer (after all you are on the internet during work hours)

PS. A lot of people bash govt. workers, but today I am in the mood to address that. As adults I believe there are healthier ways to air/vent our frustrations that to openly insult other working people based on our assumptions.

Totally agree with you on this. What folks must understand is there are thousands of applications to be processed not only theirs. I was at the Scarborough office yesterday for my test and the place was packed. Also expected times is stated to be 1year once you understand that anything under that is awesome... So chill people!

That might be the case but you are not privy to all the processes or their workflow. So the majority of the comments you make are based on your assumptions that have been founded by hearsay.

While I believe that most Govt agencies could use some streamlining, I still do not know what they are working with. So it is my opinion that until you actually have facts supporting/confirming the indolence of these workers, you refrain from insulting them.

Criticism is very easy when its someone else on the hot seat. How about shining that same lens on things you do. As always just my opinion.

I just got GCMS today. It confirms that my criminality has been completed. However the application has not been assigned. Not sure how that works.. but I guess someone reviews it before sending out invites for the Test
