Hello everyone,

Got my COPR today!! (I didn't think that it would be my turn to write this .. but it happened finally!)

My 6 months' deadline ended in november 18th I was really getting desperate, espectially after getting standard replies when sending messages to IRCC, never called though. Never got a ghost updates (or maybe I did but missed it)

Status changed to : Application/profile updated
AOR : may 18th
Medical results : July 4th
Biometrics : July 26th
COPR : December 4th

I asked many times about my VO but no reply, but I think it's in Rabat, morocco since I'm from Morocco, that's where I have to send my passport and other documents.

Just hang in there for those who are waiting!!

I applied for FSW-O and my AOR - May 14th. My application was approved on Nov 15th (received confirmation via webform and phone call with IRCC agent) but still i have not received the golden mail.

Anyone with any past experience how to handle this mental draining situation???

Did you confirm that PPR mail wasn't sent by IRCC. if yes, nothing that you can do but wait. Hoping for PPR soon, best luck

I called IRCC and they said no email have been sent. I feel I just need to wait and wait and wait .

No clearance by Sydney office as of now

Ironically, the one person whose VO i mistakenly put as Sydney has already gotten their PPR from another VO lol.

Finally I received the PPR email today! AOR - May 23 and had a ghost update yesterday; VO - CPC Ottawa. Thank you for all the information and positivity provided through out! All the best for everyone waiting to get it very soon!

One quick question- I have been asked to submit the passport either at London VO or CPC Ottawa. I was in Canada for the past 5 months on a visit visa so my profile carried the Canada address. But now I am in India, So I’d like to change the passport submission office to one in India. I have emailed to the address provided in the PPR email And CPC-OTTAWA asking for a change but just wanted to know how long this will take and if there is anything else I can do. Anybody with similar experience?

You either get it in 2-3 months or 8-10 months...I don't see right at 6 months like Ottawa people

unfortunately yes..if your case assign to Sydney that will be Train vs Airplane..will get to your destination but slower

Finally called the CIC today.

Here is what they said "your application is still under progress - criminality passed, security hasn't started yet and eligibility has not been met."

I inquired a little further about eligibility not being met and the agent informed me that the notes say 'There is some doubt about not having more than 1 year of continuous work experience.' That fazed me because I have been with my current company for 3 years now and worked for my previous company for 4 years. So I don't understand why there seems to be doubt whether I have more than 1 year of continuous work experience.

I would provide any additional documents they would need to verify my work experience but the application is locked and there is no request for additional documents. I am not sure what to do as I am afraid they might reject my application now because of this without getting in touch with me to verify the work experience. Does anyone have any experience regarding such matters or any suggestions as to what approach I can take at this point? It would be devastating to have my application rejected at this point because of an issue that I know isn't true. Any suggestions/comments welcome.

I called the CIC again today to follow up on my application. I had sent them additional documents a couple of weeks ago to support my application through a webform and received a confirmation from them that they have received the additional documents and forwarded it to the visa office last Thursday. Today another call and my application hasn't really moved at all. "Eligibility not met i.e. still under review, criminality passed, security not started." Closing in on 7 months now (AOR - May 14). Have a sinking feeling that this could be a long wait.

I also asked them about my Visa Office and their response was "your application is being processed by a central processing office, its not a local visa office." I am not really sure what that means. Does anyone have any idea what that would mean? They did say the office is located in Canada but its not a local visa office.

Whenever I ring them, they are like Eligibility is Recommended Pass Security still happening..
