Any WhatsApp group for June 2019 AOR? Should I be worried that there has been no update after I submitted my biometrics? I did get the biometrics update but zero information after that.

Thanks for the quick response. I have the same status for background verification stating that "we are processing your background check" and for review eligibility field we see the status as "we are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements". This status is there for almost 4 months now. Is that usual?

Was there any change in your eligibility status

Not since biometrics on August 5th. We hired a law firm in NYC to handle the application and they already screwed up the first time by attesting the original PCCs so we had to reapply...I lost my first ITA and then had to wait for the points to go down again in order to be eligible.

So basically I can't trust that they will actually be that careful about passing on any updates. Should I contact them and ask them to check? There is no way to check myself I'm guessing

it was transferred to Manila LVO according to agents when i checked ECAs that it changed from In process to Application Received for two days and went back again to In Process.

im from the Philippines and I filed inside Canada when I was a student.

Some days after medical passed in july, my Background status change from "Your Application is in progress....." to "We are processing your background check".
On 27 Sep, received a ghost update, found that the Background status changed to "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check"

On 1 Oct, received Request Letter from IRCC London,UK in my account for submission of IMM5406 Form.(submitted form on the same day)

On Oct 9, received a ghost update, found that the Background status changed to “We are processing your background check. we will send you a message if we need more information."

Ordered Gcms notes on 8 Sep, received email 10 oct for 90 days extension.

Criminality and security checks have not been initiated. They cannot be expedited and timelines are not available.

Criminality and Security can be checked, but of course no one knows if when it will be finished for review! Just like waiting for PPR, only CIC knows when!
