Hello everyone..
I saw 2 ghost updates, one on Oct 7 and second on Oct 8.

I called CIC on Oct 8, agent advised that application is still under criminality check and there is no update as such. (my application is under that criminality since MEP. She also said, 6 months processing time does not apply on my file since it is in the LVO and application processing may take 6-10 months.

Is it Normal? Because usually I have seen movement of file whenever there is a ghost update for other people.

Don't worry they are right Lvo.is very slow.

Please tell how did you call them what number and are u inland or outland ?

Have you tried directly contacting your LVO?

We tried that for my fiançée and... we got her PPR mail a day after.

Though we’re not sure if our mail prompted an alert for the status (2GUs) or it was the webform we submitted earlier that prompted a response.

Yes, you can pay for it now.

The receipt, which you can get from the online payment facility after payment, may be submitted to IRCC via webform, along with your pertinent account details.

Even if you get a response, it's often generic.

Hi can someone please let me know what’s a ghost update.

Ghost Update - When you log in, the application says it's been "updated" but none of the fields have changed. Once you logout and log back in, the application returns to being "submitted". Ghost updates are not announced by email and a candidate must check their profile daily to not miss them.
