I have a question does CIC asks for ADR at any time during the process or just after MEP.

I received a ghost update yesterday, the only thing changed is timescale. Instead of months, the remaining time is now displayed in weeks. Has anybody had same experience ? update for the change in display of time ?

Yes. It is normal. Mine also showing 18 weeks now.

MEP June 11 (Same day background check changed from N/A to “we are processing your background check”)
Today, July 16 l logged into my profile and saw application/profile updated, but nothing has changed in the profile since MEP. Then it went back to Submitted.
Does this mean anything?

I dont think we get any Ghost update for the format change in the site. Only for change in status will we get an Update.

If they need any additional info for determining your eligibility they would ask for ADR. And this depends on candidate to Candidate. CIC can ask for ADR during any time of the process.

You should get a mail that there is a update in ur profile but better to check your cic account daily to not miss it.

I received a request letter to update my (not primary applicant) passport biodata page, as my passport expires in 6 months. During this time, ADR part of my account changed to NOT APPLICABLE. I have responded via email as requested. Got a generic message of acknowledgement of mail.

Does anyone know how long it takes for biometrics to update on profile? I gave my biometrics on 16th July, it’s showing the Biometrics ID and date but on timelines, it still shows - We need fingerprints.....

it can be on same day, in 1-2 days or may even take a bit longer. No need to worry as long as you have correct BIO ID and date

Thanks for your response. I am just worried because they told me that my fingerprints didn’t come out good.
