I sent my wife's PR application on May 13 and it was received May 15. Yesterday we received an email saying "this confirms that your application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class has been received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) on 2018/05/15."
Just a quick question - we've sent it in twice before and had it returned to us for a variety of reasons. This is the third time we've sent it in and the first time that we received an email from them with our UCI and application number. I'm wondering if that means that we don't have to worry about getting it sent back because of incomplete/missing information? Like is this the step that moves it toward processing?

From what i hear, the AOR basically confirms a complete application has been received and will be processed. I haven't heard of the package being returned after AOR received
the thing is one of the form I submitted (IMM 5406) is not the most updated one, and they changed it in May 2018. So I was wondering how long usually the grace period is.
