Hi guys, I got a ghost update on Saturday. It is something like `Application updated`. Does it means I will get the PPR soon? What is the general timeline after the ghost update?

Hello, I do not think so. I applied from Istanbul, Turkey and the message I receive was from Immigartion Section, Ankara. I submitted my passport via mail today and I will keep this forum updated.

Just to give a short summary of my application period:

EE Profile Created: 05/02/2018
ITA: 07/02/2018
AoR: 03/05/2018 --> along with my documents, I submitted an explanation letter regarding absence of my "police certificate from USA". I initiated the process however it took 12-16 weeks for FBI to issue this certificate.
RR: 10/05/2018: CIC requested additional documents; a) Detailed travel history b) Original IELTS result.
RR: 11/05/2018: CIC granted 60 days of extension of time to submit "Police Certificate from USA".
RR: 12/07/2018: I still did not receive the police report from USA therefore requested another time extension.
RR: 13/07/2018: CIC granted another 30 days of time extension for police certificate.
RR: 13/12/2018: CIC requested Schedule A: Background Declaration Form
RR: 09/01/2019: CIC requested to provide an original police report or court records.

As I did not follow up my status precisely (only when message received) I do not know the exact dates of status updates like IP1, IP2 and MEP.

I recently started to follow the system on a daily basis and I noticed 3 ghost updates on the following dates:

Ghost update 1: 14/02/2019
Ghost update 2: 28/02/2019
Ghost update 3: 07/03/2019

PPR: 14/03/2019

I was lucky to see my first ghost update when I logged into the system. Maybe there were more updates but I did not notice.

I submitted my passport today to VFS Istanbul office, I will keep this forum updated on the progress.

No ghost updates, direct PPR mail. My CIC account status still shows eligibility under review and background check has started.

VFS acknowledged the receipt of my passport on 19/03/2019. Today, they updated the status as "Your processed passport has been forwarded to the Canada Visa Office, ANKARA on 20/03/2019."

To all who are having VO--Sydney , Nova Scotia ----- I think its better to call IRCC customer care and ask them to follow up on your case....I have done it and they have sent followup note to VO twice, but no response though...I am just wondering why only this VO is not processing their files...do you think otherwise?

Mine too VO Sydney. Very Slow. IRCC customer care did enquire on my behalf. Till date no positive outcome of that. They are the slowest i guess.

ADR: June 26, 2018 (Declaration from Non-acompanying Parent Form)
IP2: March 12, 2019 (BG In Progress + Medical results changed from Passed to Not Required)
Ghost Update: March 19, 2019
CSE sent: March 21, 2019
Ghost Update 2: March 21, 2019 - Medical Results changed back from N/A to You Passed Medical.

I am very confused, i sent a CSE to Ircc because until IP2 it was dead silence. Then i sent CSE yesterday asking for a status update since i am 1 week short of 10 months since AOR and i advised them my medical will expire in 7 weeks time, do you have any idea why my medical results changed back to You Passed after sending the CSE the same day? I live outside Canada.
