Contacted Local MP for the status update.

Unfortunately, I was selected by Security Screening. Based on my IP2 date, this has been going on for 4 months.

Do not know how long this will take. I was studying in Canada for 4 yrs and working for 2 yrs almost. Canada is already my second hometown.

However, my dear IRCC and security agencies believed I'm not a safe person. I feel really frustrated. I do not know what I can do. My manager awaits the PR to grant me a permanent job. it sounds like my permanent job will be at least one year later from now.

Sorry, not a good news for May applicants. Wish all the best to you guys.

I believe your VO matters a great deal. My VO is currently not attending to files for reasons best known to them. So many people under AVO have passed the 6 months timeline and their files haven't been touched. So yes, VO matters!

similar situation to yours- i think VO matters a lot- mine is Sydney Australia. Whats your? and do you have review required?

Contacted Ralph. Got to know that eligibility, criminality, background none of the checks have been started. I did have an ADR for spouse PCC in June which I replied to the next day. Recently, I was asked by CIC in october to retake my medical. I am not sure where my application is stuck.

Any suggestions ??

Hey mate i contacted ralph as well- and I am the same nothing was started- and i got PCC for my wife as well- which was submitted on 23rd june- so technically since then nothing was started- and i got this to know from ralp on 23rd Oct..

My file has been in Sydney, NS since May & I have RR for job duties.

Hello Yes, its sydney Australia- local visa office. Confirmed by CIC over phone and email- and also confirmed by Sydney Local visa office in Australia- and it has their signature with australian street and number.. but they are the slowest turtles in the universe

Folks... just a generic question. Not sure if anyone can answer. Does anyone in this group follow Jan / Feb / Mar AOR groups and seen any trend as to when CIC has actioned 'Review Required' applications beyond 6 months? I know it is very difficult to predict or track CIC trend but just thought of asking.

Passed 6 months on 17 th may . Called them today they say eligibility review required may take few more months .tgey haven’t touched my file from last 5 and half months . This is actually frustrating that don’t even look at your file for this much time

I know it is very frustrating. You take a few months more to review and issue PPR, it is okay. But you take these more months of our life to review and decline,

Are the call center agents helpful in giving out any info regarding your eligibility, criminality or security assessments?
