Contacted Ralph. Got to know that eligibility, criminality, background none of the checks have been started. I did have an ADR for spouse PCC in June which I replied to the next day. Recently, I was asked by CIC in october to retake my medical. I am not sure where my application is stuck.

Today again i was able to connect to cic agent ....
And today they told me something else entirely
Eligibility passed ok
Criminality passed ok
Security is under process
Last two calls it was ( eligi ok security ok criminality under process )
The lady was keen to help
Me out so she told me that she is accessing this information thru gcms only
She told me on the major screen they are showing this
Eligi ok
Med ok
Background check going on
( criminality not done
( security done)
Where as inside the notes
It is opposite ( she said someone has marked the wrong boxes)
I pressed her again asking here how long ll it take for security and if it is advanced security screening
She told me that we dnt know if its advanced or normal
But there is surely no red flag or rejection anywhere so it should be cleared in coming few weeks ( cant say 2 or 3 or 4)
Guys is this advanced security screening ??
Can they be trusted ??? The calls .... i am waiting for GCMS applied on 8th nov
Unfortunately, I was selected by Security Screening. Based on my IP2 date, this has been going on for 4 months.
Do not know how long this will take. I was studying in Canada for 4 yrs and working for 2 yrs almost. Canada is already my second hometown.
However, my dear IRCC and security agencies believed I'm not a safe person. I feel really frustrated. I do not know what I can do. My manager awaits the PR to grant me a permanent job. it sounds like my permanent job will be at least one year later from now.

I believe your VO matters a great deal. My VO is currently not attending to files for reasons best known to them. So many people under AVO have passed the 6 months timeline and their files haven't been touched. So yes, VO matters!
Calling CIC is the fastest way. And you can just raise a webform mentioning that you want to know the VO. mention that particular reason only....
They are getting back. In my case, I got a reply after 8 days
