My CIC account shows "we need additional documents to continue processing your application. We will send you a message with more details."
I moved to IP2 (BC started) yesterday and got my rprf request too. I paid it yesterday, but the above status has still not changed.
Does the status refer to my rprf request itself or should I be expecting some other additional document request in the coming days?

I am confused about this IP1/2 stuff...my eligibility & BGC have been under progress for more than a month but my file is still at Central Intake Office....what does that make me?

What is your AOR?
The eligibility status usually remains unchanged until you get your PPR AND get your visa stamped and returned to you. So, dont bother about that.
BGC would change a couple of times. First, when you submit your application and get your AOR (known as NA1). Next, when you pass your medicals (which is known as IP1). Nowadays, after IP1, it should jump straight to IP2, which should say "we are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information". Typically, after IP2, PPR would be triggered. In case you haven't paid your RPRF upfront along with your application fees, a request letter to pay it would be sent along with your IP2 stage.
IP2 is the stage where your local visa officer would be conducting your final background check, upon obtaining all recommendations from the agents.

I am 23 May AOR too. And absolute radio silence since MEP. Called them 3 weeks ago and was told Eligibility is being checked... nothing since then

relax everything will be fine. i am 19th May AOR, no update since june 9th, still ip2. my friend is 10th may AOR, and he is the same stage too. I talked to a friend of mine who is a lawyer, he said we will be getting our PPRs soon (possibly in the next few weeks).

I entered IP2 yesterday (May 23 AOR) but then got a ghost update today: it doesn't look like anything underneath has changed...

I'm only 3 days before you, and I got my IP2 yesterday: if we're on the same trajectory, you should expect your IP2 very soon. Even if not, I know people before me that have gone from IP1 to PPR with nothing in between

I definitely think the IRCC website needs updated; the statuses are very vague :/

Hey That's very nice mate, where was the your Local Visa Office?

My last GCMS notes from August showed that my file was at CPC-Ottawa, with a secondary office as CIO-Sydney. If it's gone to my local office, then I guess it'll be at London.

Yes. I got an email alert saying I have a new message in my cic account.

Did you get the ghost update after your BG change updated to IP2?
