There's no way raising a CSE or ordering GCMS notes helps expedite your application. It was pure coincidence.
I second the fact that unless the officer needs additional documents to look at, not providing additional documents is always better as it takes less time to review. Any new document sent has to be taken into consideration before a final decision is taken.
True that. IP2 is only a trigger that at least one of your background checks got cleared - usually, criminality.
My case since June 1 (AOR May 11).
It may sound grueling, but we are in a waiting game and you can't do anything but wait while you're running it.
If you got your GCMS notes and there are no concerns, chill and wait. As said here, every timeline is unique. But everyone who did their homework will eventually get through.
Hello everyone !!
My AOR is 3rd May
Have paswed Medical on 12th May
Entered IP2 on 28th June
Still waiting for PPR

There is no harm in ordering GCMS notes. It's possible your PPR comes before the GCMS notes. You have been in Ip2 for a long time. It's possible some part of BG check is taking more time. But you can know for sure only through GCMS notes.

Not necessarily. Again, IP2 only means criminality is done, and sometimes it happens simultaneously with eligibility (which takes the longest). His eligibility is probably in review like mine.

To be honest, no one in this forum knows exactly the procedure IRCC adopts in reviewing files, we can only speculate. but nevertheless GCMS will help clarify why your file is ''probably stuck'' and what stage your file is in.

I think they did clarify in a recent tweet that processing times are unaffected due to ordering of GCMS notes, so I'm actually quoting IRCC, not myself.
