Hey Everyone! How's the Etobicoke IRCC visa office in terms of application processing time? My case was transferred there sometime back.

It was transferred because of Workload redistribution as per GCMS notes

Thank you, I am inland so for me I sent a copy of my passport, 2x pr card photos and the Annex A that is sent in the email, prepaid envelope (email will specify which one you need depending on where you're sending it from.

Sent it on: Sept 10th
They received it: Sept 11th
Approved Application: Sept 11th
CoPR sent to me: Sept 11th

Should receive it today or tomorrow as it went Express.

I did send the passport too on the same date , and they did receive it on sep 11th .
But have not seen any changes in the status yet , I am an outland applicant so I guess i'll have to wait a little more for the approval status .

@cansha - they do work redistribution too! So Montreal may not be that bad after all.

I previously put "Toronto, ON" as my destination in the EE application, do I have to live and work there for X period of time so that it does not impact my PR renewal 5 years down the line or it doesn't matter where I live?

Was your application processing under the PNP stream??

I'm in IP2 with an AOR of 8th of May, 2018. 2 applicants. I had to submit RCMP and it has showed as "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information." since that was submitted.

I plan to call CIC to ask some specific questions:

1. Is my application still being processed in Ottawa?
2. What is my eligibility status?
3. In what stage is my background / security check?

Can anyone think of any more specific questions that would help determine the status of my application?
