I'm still stuck at IP1. 110 days from AOR.
I've called CIC and they told me the eligibility is 'recommended pass' but the background check hasn't started.

Do you believe this is the time to get Notes?

Dude, same here, exact same as recommended pass n bgc not started, I believe still in Ottawa office. Maybe we got the same VO who is on vacation right now. Lets keep in touch.

1. Eligibility status, if recommended passed or fully passed.
2. Background started or not

Just out of curiosity, if they are processing background check, which I believe is IP2, would the eligibility recommended as passed or entirely passed?

GCMS request never halts your case processing. On the contrary, in situations where it is stuck, it gets the required "push".

I know, I have been waiting since May 11th...no sign of even RPRF yet...I am dying with anxiety.

you might want to order GCMS notes. If you havn't been requested for RPRF it means your eligibility is still in Review Required.... I was ask RPRF on June 21st and as per notes... June 21st was set eligibility to Recommended PASS

Not always. When I called about a month ago they said that they are doing it simultaneously and my eligibility not yet passed, while some background checks have been initiated. But I am guessing it is for the people who get IP2 status right away and unfortunately, doesn't mean faster processing as you can see from my status
