Anyone knows what does it mean if the CIC phone automated system mentions "the review of your background check has not started yet"? I called 4 weeks ago, and from memory at the time, it just repeated the online account status.

Managed to speak to an agent, no official update regarding my eligibility, and my background verifications has not started yet. AOR 4 May, RPRF requested and paid 26 May.

Thank you for all your guidance and support for our express entry applications.
I am facing an issue for my profile regarding dependent child. I received ITA in May 2018 and I selected to continue the application. We are 3 members, Myself, spouse(Indian Citizens) and child (US Citizen)(2 years). When we clicked continue application option, we see 3 sections one for each member on application.
For my child, header of the section showed as below by default.
XXXXXXX: Unaccompanying, PR Child Form
And also, In the personal details section for my child, system defaultly selected "NO" for the below question
Will this person accompany XXXXX to Canada?
I am totally confused as I never specified my child as not accompanying and I also gave 3 members for total no of members in the application.
In my express entry profile it never asked details about my dependant. Only place I was able to specify is "No of accompanying members" and I made sure to give 3.

Is this usual to all applicants with children or did i miss anything in my profile?
Is there any way to make my child as accompanying from non accompanying?

Managed to speak to an agent, no official update regarding my eligibility, and my background verifications has not started yet. AOR 4 May, RPRF requested and paid 26 May.

We have similar AOR date. My eligibility says ongoing and background checks not started.

Same as you. Aor is 4th may - eligibility recommended pass only. Rest still pending & not yet started.

cud you please let me know if you had travel history, how many countries you or your spouse visited?

Lots of Travel to US. We had to be very detailed when doing this request. We copied everything and took an entire night and recheck them.

We received our AOR in April 2018 and the passport email request 9th July 2018 but there have been no updates in my CIC profile, it is still showing that my application is in process.

Is that the normal procedure ?

Yes, this is normal. I believe it won't update until you've sent your passport(s) and had your CoPR issued.
