Yes, I've been calling various offices, ottawa, new delhi etc to check my PPR status but they seem to be sleeping on their job. It's been 1 month today since my aor and this delay is unacceptable. They need to hire more workers if they are inundated with applicants. Isn't that why we pay thousands of dollars application fees.
dun think we paid thouands of dollars, we each paid a few hunderds... I suspect with that it cant cover much and Canadian Gov must have subsidized quite a lot...
Hey Guys, something weird happen to me today regarding updates. I got a request from CIC to Pay my RPRF, however, I paid it already in the initial stages. I created a letter of explanation, attached my receipt and also showed them a break down of the fees in my account. Hopefully that satisfy their request. Patiently waiting.

FSW-I
May 26-AOR
June 6-MEP and IP2
June 18- Eligibility in progress to review required as per CIC call center
VO- CIO Sydney Nova Scotia
Any thoughts? I got a ghost update that day June 18
No additional documents requested but I did only get my work permit last week so I was on implied status May 11 until last week
From my opinion, RPRF request does not 100% guarantee upcoming PPR. I am saying this because of my friend who has a criminal record back in his hometown got RPRF request after his AOR. A couple of weeks after he paid RPRF, his criminal record check started to be under review and he has been stuck in that stage for a long time now - he was requested for some additional documents related to PCC issue. However, if the person has a clean criminal record, yes, it should be definitely good sign for upcoming PPR.
