Guys, I just received an email from IRCC regarding my request to know about the visa office.
It is in Mexico City. How weird! Should not be in Brazil?
I am moving to another city in a week. Should I email Mexico City directly to inform them or should I fill the form on the website?
Please advise.
Hi Mateus,
I'm also from BR and saw people with the same situation as you. (Already with PPR)
That's because SPVO is having a hard time processing all the brazilian applications...
Hey darshaknir,
I have same AOR date. Sharing my timeline here,
AOR 25th May
MEP 5th June
IP1 5th June
since then no update. I am stuck at IP1. I am FSW-O. What stream do you belong to?
So far I know the latest for CEC is 3/4 APril AOR so hopefully they will move fast and we will get some update! And Cic reduced time to apply 60 days so, they should also work fast as well! Lol
Guys..I called CIC..they said my eligibility is recommended pass and background verification is in progress. No additional documents required..now it is in nova Scotia sydney..in Ip1 it was in Ottawa..what does that mean @legalfalcon ..and others..

if you have travel history to other countries, CIC will need to get your security clearance from these countries, since government officials work very slowly it can take months to years.

No one can say whether it will increase or decrease processing time, but it definitely won't be a problem if you have correctly entered all the details on your profile.
