No i did nt get any update direct ppr even no GCMS ordered . I did nt even call Cic .

I would have said yes to the DL, but if you can include the Utility bill, such as Hydro (issued within the last 6 months) will be fine as well.
When you raise the CSE via the webform: https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx just include his PR card, passports of you the 3 of you along with the proof of residential address as a bunch...

Once you upload these docs wait for 2 weeks, and then order GCMS notes....

In Canada they don't accept DL as an address proof in general, try to provide a bank statement along with it.

A ghost update is when your profile shows "Application/Profile Updated", but there is no change on the details inside. It's a sign that some process has been triggered on IRCC's side (probably with your LVO at this point).

If you can't see any change, then that's most likely a ghost update, and is a hint that your PPR is coming very soon.
