My file has been in process since july 11, and I yet to get a test invite. I ordered those notes where I see my case processing center is Mississauga but no officer has been assigned to my case yet. Also I see my background/ security checks are done.

on the other hand, my wife and kids applied 2 months after me and she will go for the test on Friday, her office is also Mississauga.

what do I need to do? call and bug them, but as per the website application could take up to 1 year, so cic may not entertain my call..

any thoughts?? please help

Hi, How do you know from the notes that no officer has been assigned yet? Where does it states when the officer is assigned. I have my notes as well but can't see this info.

if you call, call centre they can tell if officer has been assigned..I called them and she told me a lady is looking after my case.

I would advise you to call them and ask this question. You can raise this point and see what they say. This is the number. Call early in the morning around 8 am when waiting time is less otherwise long waiting hours
