I am currently going through the process of applying for the Canadian citizenship. I was looking through the required documents and I found that I need to provide a proof of English proficiency. I have attended 3 years of post-secondary studies but have not completed my program yet. So, I don't have a diploma or a certificate to submit. Would submitting official transcripts of the 3 years be enough to prove my English proficiency? Moreover, I took an IELTS academic test in 2009 when I was applying to university. Can I submit that as proof or is it too old? Your feedback is very appreciated. Thanks
Will be completing and sending off my Application early next week. Very helpful forum and of immense help.
Lastly, 2 applicants told me that they filed their complete application online - and here i am reading that people are filling out their forms and actually mailing them. Thus want to know if there is in reality an option to fill out your entire application online and submit it online as well.
