i had some issue with medical request so that why my medical was done so late so .. i think my app info isn't much of help people will get confuse with this ... i don't think any other app has taken 8 months

Well to me every application is as valuable as any other. Feel free and add this. May be you can share what went wrong so people can avoid it in future.

my online portal shows medical passed. Funny I didnt get an update email from cic. And no other info. When do they request passport now that medical is approved

Visa issued last week, Alhamdulillah! Took 3 months, but still, better late than never.
University of Manitoba, University 1 course, basically a wide range of options, subjects wise in the 1st year of study, then normal bachelor degree resumes.
Connecting here, as requested. =)
Term starts on the 5th of May, still in the pre-departure phase. IA will leave at the end of this month, first timer here so could use all the help you guys have to offer.

Your passport request/dispatching is likely to be before the start of your study period. That's the normal progression I have seen here with other applicants.

My semester starts on 5 May which is why Im worried.

I am from Pakistan, waiting for visa. My medical was performed on 24th of march and results were send on 10th of April. How long they will take more to stamp the student visa. My classes going to be start in the first week of May 2015. Help!!!!!!
