Hi All,

I thing that creating confusion regarding application forms, In CIO letter of AOR it is mentioned to dowload the application forms and fill them up for submission of full application to VO, where as in Visa Office Specific Instruction it is mentioned at last section 'Mailing Your Application' to send photocopy of application sent to CIO with all supporting documents. Wht is your understanding about this. Advise Plz.

still ECAS not available?? should i contact visa office or CIC to enquire about ECAS ? ??? ??? ??? ???

Try every tuesday, the moment London VO start processing your file you will be able to access ecas, but don't get too excited, it just says that you are being 'processed' (although this does confirm that you are moving forward).
Mine were submitted on 25 Oct and they started processing on 19 Nov. Ecas was available just after that.

I submitted my documents to London VO on 14 Nov (01 Month & 20 Days now) but still no update available on ECAS, also didnt receive 2nd AOR yet.

i am about to send my doc to VO...
some one wrote above that we also need to fill new forms and sign with latest date and send them photo copy that was send to CIO.
as per my understanding, we are suppose to send the copy of forms sent to CIO and thats it.
please confirm if i need to fill new forms?

• supporting documents required in this checklist, within the 120 day
deadline set out by the CIO.

According to the supporting documents required in the checklist........... also indicates the updated forms (clearly mentioned in the checklist)

I need a small Favor.

After Submitting my Medical, PP and Landing Fee, I received a mail to Submit, my marriage Photos and proof of Marriage, i mailed all the above documents on 30th November and were received by VO on 1st December. Now how much time will it take for VO to make a Decision?

Dear fogo according to CIO letter and VO specific instructions,we should send only the documents which were submitted to CIO and all supporting documents.I strongly believe this is what's required, i am sending the same tomorrow on 1st day od 2011.

Are you sure? I couldn't find anywhere in my VO Specific Documents (London) any mention of updated forms. It does however mention that you must advise them of any changes.

Friends , I am in a delimma for which I will need your advise.. I am currently in USA and need to submit my documents to VO Buffalo.Me and my wife are engg. graduate from India and we have been trying to get original transcripts from university through our friends.I doubt if we will be able to get original transcripts in time... Can i just send out the notarized photo copy of my degree and marksheets? what are the chances that it will get rejected with just photo copy and not original transcripts from university. :-X

I also faced the same issue. In fact I have returned to India last month but my lawyer had suggested that I have to write a cover letter stating why I cannot submit mark sheets in original sealed envelope. I have done that and I have submitted the documents yesterday.

My documents should be reaching New Delhi on 3rd or 4th Jan. Keeping my fingers crossed.
