Hello Seniors ,
I had also applied in May 2010.
Before few months they had asked for a DNA test and that was done. The DNA test was OK and the results were sent 3 months back in April. After that there is no message from CHC.
My application was started processing in Jun 2012.
Howewer my ECAS status is still "In process" .I see that all other members have atleast got MR.
Please advise.
Thanks....and sorry about the late reply, was getting my medicals done!
As for your PCC query, this is what they have said, and I quote:
" Police Clearance Certificate(s): From each country where anyone in the following list has
resided for six months or longer since the age of 18:
the principal applicant
spouse or common-law partner (whether they are accompanying or not)
each dependent child over the age of 18 years (whether they are accompanying or
not)
The Police Clearance Certificate from the country where you are currently residing must
be no more than 12 months old. The Police Clearance Certificate from any country
where you no longer reside must be issued after your departure from that country or no
more than six months before your departure. Please follow the instructions on:

Congratulations and very happy to know that applications received till 28 May 2010 is somehow clear.
Hopefully from next week June applicants will be able to get some great and good news.
Good luck and pray to god that from next week our time starts.
I am also 28th May 2010 applicant, have not received MR ,PPR yet but eager now..
Best way to send PP with ur friends, relatives and again collect it in Indian address.Fetch it again with the help of relatives/friends.
You can also send it through DHL with authorized letter, one of my friend has sent it from UAE to India and received it back through courier.
Reg,
Edmonta
Thanks Edmonta, yep I know that is the best way but right now, I don't have anyone crossing shores! I will try with the DHL here, for I am pretty sure FEDEX/UPS would not accept going by others' experience.
A question to you/seniors please:
As for me, I have to send updated forms, PCC from US (where I am currently), passport- all in one package back to India. Say I get it across to my parents in India, (which is the mailing address in file), do you know if VFS would accept this 'package' to be sent to NDVO or they 'ONLY' take the passport and you have to send the rest by courier/registed mail?
Thanks....and sorry about the late reply, was getting my medicals done!
