Dear all, my status has turned into In Process in march 15th, 2012. Still i have not received my MR nor any queries. Does this mean, file is still under process and still i have the chance to get rejected? Plz enlighten me. I will be grateful.
I have just discovered this forum and it's really helpful. I have received my 6-12 month letter from LVO on 25th April 12. I have one question bugging me. Will the new Immigration point system effect our files?and at which point a files is considered to be safe from MI changes. In case of pre-2008 backlog applications, cases which have received a selection decision based upon selection criteria are eligible for further action. What about our cases? Have the 6-12 months letter cases reached selection decision?
Dear all
I have received a feedback from sgvo today on a return email:
Your file is in the medical queue awaiting medical forms to be issued in the next 6 to 9 months. Please wait to receive request letter from this office.
So, do we still stand a chance of rejection, i have not received any MR since my status have changed into In Process in March.
I have been saving the excel sheets of quarterly data release on data.gc.ca. Wanted to share the data which shows that the files of MI1 applicants are being worked upon. The MI1 inventory comparison of April 2011 Vs April 2012 is mentioned below. This is the data for the total number of applications for all CHC offices worldwide:
Inventory of MI1 applications with CHC offices worldwide
No. of cases No. of persons
As on 1st April 2011 52423 141098
As on 1st April 2012 32641 91104
Inventory of MI1 applications with CHC New Delhi
No. of cases No. of persons
As on 1st April 2011 8130 20639
As on 1st April 2012 5053 13236
Looking at the data, one can make out that they are working on the MI 1 applications. Though the speed is very slow as compared to MI2 and MI3, but at least we can be hopeful that the cases would be cleared.
That would help pep up the optimistic attitude of all the forum members
