Hey guys just wanted to know that what are my chances to get admitted to UBC or SFU for masters in computer science (MASc/MEngg) MASc preferred JAN 2017 intake.

2 yrs work experience as software developer on Oracle.
GRE & IELTS will be giving soon.
Done a couple of academic projects.
UBC is definitely harder to get into...it is a bigger and more prestigious school...and that matters if you are looking long term to stay in Canada...your grades are borderline so i would estimate that you're GMAT scores will matter...as well as our work history...which school did you attend in india....they do look at that as well...university/private college etc
I have graduated from MHSS college of Engineering Affiliated from MUMBAI UNIVERSITY and I am planning to appear for GRE and feeling confident for good score and by the time I will apply I would be having 1.5 yrs of experience and would be still working as I am in a bond for 2 years with Capgemini (igate)
At the end of the day, it all really comes down to your final application package and how well you sell yourself...good luck..
