Masters by Coursework (16 months)

I am applying for masters in computer science by coursework at a few unis. Some coursework option provide a 16 month program duration. But now the question is, if I apply for the Co op program later ( usually 4 to 8 months), so would this increase my program duration from 16 months to 20/24 months. Would they write 2 years masters on my degree or 16 months and would I get 3 years post graduate work permit or 16 months.

As per my understanding you will get 3 years PGWP if your course have 4 semester.

It's very confusing because most of the people say that if the program is 16 months then a 16 month pgwp will be issued.
