I have applied from Mumbai, India. My application is stuck on Background check and no I haven't applied for GCMS notes

Are you a returning student or will you be visiting Canada for the first time? I'm asking because if you have been to Canada, you can reach out to your local MP and have them look into your application. I will also suggest you apply for GCMS notes to see if there has been any movement since you applied. Are you considering filing a writ of mandamus by any chance? It might be an expensive pathway but is a pathway nonetheless.

Hey! I am just waiting and praying, I don't know why did our applications delayed this much longer? we have sacrificed our time, money and everything waiting for there decisions for months but we hear nothing from them. Maybe, We are the most unluckiest applicants and a strict visa officer might be holding our files.
Only God can save us, let's just pray and keep patience, nothing is in our hands.

Hello. I applied on April 29 for a study permit from Russia and haven't got the approval yet. I've ordered GCMS notes which were stated that my background check had started on June 24. Btw, my upfront medical exam will expire in a couple of days, and I will be wait for medical request.

What passport do you hold? How much did you show in cash? Do you even have PAL or still have admission?

I have a Lebanese Passport (Palestinian Refugee) and I showed around 45K CAD, my PAL is now expired and I am waiting for the new ones to be distributed and as for admission yes I still have admission but had to defer to Spring (May 2025).
