I don't think it should effect AOR at all (as long as the three years before were ticked appropriately, anyway). It's more in the requirements later. To be clear, for AOR stage, I think they are only checking that indeed the boxes are ticked as required - which for online I think it checks that anyway.
By which time most will have filed (those required to do so anyway), so if they check for the most recent year (I repeat if - I do not know if they do), no issue for them. People filing in March are mostly not going to see checks of the filings going on in May or later. Again, after the filing deadline.
And I suspect for those that had filed as required for previous years, well, IRCC is not CRA, I doubt they are out tracking down file by file who has filed right on time, etc.
Those applying later in the year might see some checks, esp if their own timeframe in Canada shorter/with fewer tax filing years.
