I did yes, I assume it’s related to that. I also have roughly 150 crossings during my eligibility period (pretty much all day trips to the US) which also likely contributes to their request.

When you took the test, did you inform IRCC that you were taking it from abroad ? It was a condition when I did my own test in 2022. But lately that condition has been removed from the test invite.

I did yes, I don’t think I needed to but I’d emailed before doing so to make sure it was permissible. Then I received permission from the agent at the Scarborough office whom I had emailed.

I received an invitation for the Citizenship test, how you guys did it?
Whenever you are ready, just login to the site and follow instructions or is there any other way?

Yes, starting from the date mentioned in the invitation letter, you can log in using your application number and UCI number. After logging in, you'll need to verify your ID photo and face photo. Once verified, you'll receive a link to access and complete the test. A score of +15 is required to pass. Hope this helps!

Do keep us posted, in a similar boat. Not sure if that constitutes more checks or delays regarding say US-Canada travel during the eligibility or US-Canada taxation or when working on say work visa in the US and traveling routinely to/fro Canada during COVID or a bit afterward etc. Appreciate your input!
