July 22-2024 -Got an email with instructions to download the e-certificate. No oath date yet.
Citizenship Ceremony - Not Started
Just got an email for Oath Ceremony on Aug 02
The oath is scheduled for 20 August; no formal email yet. tracker updated on 23 July
Oath Ceremony done. Took a little longer due to almost 400 people being sworn in and collecting certificates. It was fun though. Congrats to you all, and hopefully those still waiting don’t have much longer to go!
Final update, Oath officially marked as Completed in the tracker today.
Time to go apply for a passport.

Congrats.
Is it common to receive the download link for the "citizenship certificate" before the actual oath ceremony if an e-certificate option was picked at the time of application

Congratulations
Virtual Oath ceremony scheduled for July 29th 11am Scarborough office.
Is anyone who took oath on 16th July 2024, still waiting for the Citizenship certificate? The processing center is Scarborough, March Applicant.
I have AOR April 5 and have heard absolutely nothing since then. i haven’t seen many people waiting more than 3.5 months since they applied without any updates. Personally I don’t think there’s much use in calling IRCC. I requested GCMS notes on June 13. Today is 30 days so hope to get them this week. Have you requested GCMS?
I haven't ordered GCMS notes. I'm just holding on and hoping there is some sort of movement soon. Still no updates as of today. I guess some applications just take longer. Any luck with thr GCMS notes? All the best!

Finger Print Received Date: June 18, 2024
Background Complete Date: Apr 30, 2024 (Only for 1 applicant) and June 21, 2024
It took exactly 4 weeks for the finger prints to be received and Background verification to be completed.
We received the invite to oath ceremony today (July 23). It is scheduled on Aug 1.
So it took exactly a month after the fingerprints were marked as received and background verification was completed.
The status for LPP or Oath ceremony is not yet updated in any of our trackers.

I think I have seen other applicants mention about it in this forum.
[My understanding]- The test invitation e-mail will not explicitly reveal the location. However, the email will include codes such as DN SCR (Scarborough), DN MIS (Mississauga), and so on. Here, DN stands for Domestic Network, followed by the locations SCR and MIS.
thank you i could see that mine is mississauga

We are still waiting for the invitation letter; we are unsure if it's virtual or in-person. The date indicated in the tracker is 20 Aug. My question is, some people got the certificate (citizenship) right away to download it, while others had to wait for some days. Two applicants are traveling out of the country on 30 Aug; their tickets have already been purchased. We have to apply for a one-day passport, provided we get the certificate on the day of the oath. Confused........, should we request IRCC to give us another date or work under the assumption that we will get the certificate the same day of oath? And will apply for a passport the very next day.
Kindly share your experiences. Thanks.
