I have very similar timeline regarding fingerprint check.

From what I have seen, IRCC takes 3-4 weeks to confirm receipt of fingerprints and completing the background check step.

I need some help to understand how and at what point IRCC requests finger print? I received AOR early March and took citizenship test in May and the rest is pending.

LPP updated as completed today. Actual date they were completed was July 5th.

My oath/ ceremony is on July 19th. Almost there

Hi guys!

At first, I would like to thanks everyone who helped me in last few months.

Last week (July 3rd) me and my wife we had our Citizenship Oath Ceremony. Ceremony was online, via Zoom. Everything went smooth, but online is more waiting, than ceremony take itself.

Now I have one issue, I applied for e-Ceritficate, so I can apply for passport asap. After ceremony they told us, that people who applied for e-Certificate have to wait 2-5 days. I checked my account and there is no updates. How long you guys wait for your certificates? Was it longer than 5 days?

Quick question please . Can anyone please tell why the Vancouver office requests for finger print . My partners background is completed with no finger print request , while I got a finger print request yesterday which was done today. Is there a reason y? And does that mean our applications are in different offices?

Name match in there database triggers FP. It's one of the criteria. Your partner search would not have returned any records. So background completed without need for FP.

Hi all, I haven’t received any update for my test status. It’s been more than 40 days that I did the test. Does that happen to anyone else?

Mine took almost 30 days to update. I emailed the test centre after speaking with ircc agent on the phone. They replied quite fast and told me to wait so I did. Vancouver test centre email is DNCITVANTESTS@cic.gc.ca
