Hello everyone,
Does anyone know how are last landing date decided? I mean my medical expires in dec 2024 and im still waiting for final decison on my application from ircc. Is the last landing date when the medical expires or we get overall 6 months ?

Medical expiry, passport expiry or 1 year - whatever comes first.

ITA 13th February
AOR 26th March
BIL request 21st May
Medicals updated to be completed on tracker 21st May ( is blank in GCKey)
Biometrics completed 24th May ( both on Tracker & GCKey)
Background verification is still in Progress
Eligibility - Not started

Need your expert advise on:
1. How do we get to know which office is processing application?
2. Is it okay for Background check to go this long?
3. Will eligibility check start after BG verification?

* BIL is pending for my spouse as she is currently in India due to family emergency. Currently tracker has "In Progress" state for her.

Nothing moved except for Medical got updated to Complete on Jun 11th. BGC is "In progress"(in tracker) and is "Not applicable" (in GCKey) for almost 45 days now.
