I applied around same time as you with a valid biometric done from a different application type, but no medical request yet.

If I may, are you seeing these updates same place where it shows "Application Received"? Ours is just showing "Application Received" with the date they got it.

If yes, I am guessing you see "Application Received" on yours as well, and other status updates? And you were only able to access the page using the credentials sent to the sponsor, right?

Yes, I used the application number and my information, click on your application and click on "view application history"

Can someone please help me in identifying the correct option to select for the field "The Principal applicant is your" in the form IMM1344e? I am a bit confused between the option "Spouse living in Canada" and "Spouse living in Canada - Applying under family class". What is the difference between these two options and which option should I select if applying for a partner living in Canada with the sponsor?

Choose the class of application

• If you’re sponsoring your conjugal partner or dependent child, you must submit an application under the Family Class. These applications are processed outside Canada.
• If you’re sponsoring your spouse or common-law partner, you may sponsor them under the Family Class or under the Spouse or Common-Law Partner in Canada Class.
• When you sponsor a spouse or common-law partner, you must specify the “Class of Application” on the checklist you’ll submit.

Apply under the Family Class if:

• the person you want to sponsor lives outside Canada
• the person you want to sponsor currently lives with you in Canada but doesn’t plan to stay in Canada while the application is being processed
• you plan to appeal if the application is refused
• you’re sponsoring your conjugal partner or dependent child

Apply under the Spouse or Common-Law Partner in Canada Class if your spouse or common-law partner:

• lives with you in Canada
• has valid temporary resident status in Canada, or is exempt from needing this status under a public policy
• would like to apply for, and qualifies for, an Open Work Permit so that they can work while the application is being processed

Hey did you use the PA’s email to register the PR application portal account and still AOR was sent to the sponsor? I got no AOR but received a letter with file number.

Well for tracker, so far no luck with the proper application tracker. But using the Sponsor's GCKey account, her application was linked there.

Some updates today: The CSQ came in. We also sent it by webforms hoping this helps speed things up.
