Yeah, VFS (or whatever you used) has some sort of automated process in place for linking biometrics. No way IRCC does it so reliably and consistently
Why don’t they let VFS process our applications? They are much more efficient
Guys any updates on early MARCH AORs? We have only 1 PR approval till now for March

@Daren2023 posts weekly updates about ppl's timeline (for those who come forward & report).
Other than that March AOR's seem to be progressing slower than Jan & Feb ones. And now we have the strike starting. Brace for processing delays I'd say.
I read this message from another post. So hope it's true..
I spoke to a friend of mine working with CRA yesterday and they mentioned they have agreed to go for discussion rather than go for strike right now.

I know. I keep checking this thread to see if people have been getting updates. The past 2 weeks appear to be a bit uneventful.

That is good news. Hopefully even if there is a strike it will not last long. I did some research and previous big strikes in Canada have lasted about 10ish days. I think people don’t get paid when they don’t work and they have bills to pay so IMO they won’t be able to sustain a long strike.

Yes actually. Thanks a lot
I just called IRCC, as I am about to apply for a job, and thought it might be good to include updates suggesting a "promised" PR status. I was told my background verification has passed, and my eligibility is "recommended pass". Indeed sounds like good news?
